Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch

"Count your Chickens before they hatch" by Arindham Caudhari is my latest pick. I got away by the title of the book. Catchy..Isn't it?
After completing this, I got a feeling that this has more focus on employers. Well, the way the book emphasized the differences in various aspects like patriotism, Job security, loyalty towards employer etc,  between East and west and India is quite good. The Japanese concept of "hire first, train later" is good..Isn't it? One more good thing about the book the way it described the importance the attitude in your success saga.

Jonathan livingston seagull

As I'm traveling all alone by train and just before starting for the railway station, I went to office library and picked two books. one of them happened to be "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach. I've not heard about this author earlier. But the thickness of the book made me pick this one. A fable about a seagull which tries to find the reason for life in learning and doing some thing new. Good one. I think one must think beyond the routine thought zone, so things with passion..definitely, we'll find the purpose of our life. Isn't it?

The Monk who sold his Ferrari

My First English book of 2013. this piece of work by Robin Sharma is quite interesting. Instead of monotonous way of mentioning the concepts, I liked the way the narration happened in the book. "On your death bed, you don't find yourself guilty for not working more at office, you'll feel guilty for not spending enough time with your family" -- Really true..Isn't it?  Must read for all those workaholics:)

Rachaytri - by ranganayakamma

My first book in 2013. Its been almost 6 months since I've read this...but still the characters of vijaya & mohan are still alive in my memory. This was originally written in 60's and I feel sad that women are still ill-treated.. also, the one that I've read is the latest edition and the author had changed the climax of the plot. I still wonder if that is possible even now also...
