silence after war...

On the other day I was writing about weight loss...but, now...it is the real loss..
one e-mail comprising of 100 words can change life of 100 people and hundred others...
It was a fine satday morning...mobile was ringing...call from a colleague..something unexpected..she was referring to a email from our VP...Its all about laying off 80 odd ppl from our company which has just 200+ ppl....
Finally monday is here...lot of apprehensions/doubts/hopes on entering the office...everyone looked so sad...nobody knows whose last date is when...'silence after war' is something heavy and not so easy to bear...I feel that silence now...in my cubicle, in my wing, in the entire premises...
GOD..u only must know when all this will come to an end...
