My water color painting teacher

 

My childhood hobby was drawing..

However, I'm afraid of spoiling

it in the process of colouring..

Never got a chance to overcome the fear of painting

 

Recently started IG account to post my quilling,

And I happened to come across Zaneena's painting.

It revived the hidden desire to learn water-colouring

 

While recovering from the COVID blues,

I've completed Zaneena's 30-day bold skies.

Overwhelmed with joy when she accepted my request,

to teach the water-colour Bokeh effect.

 

The radiant camping tent in her pine trees,

or the magic with the monochromes,

 

Be it incorporating the lively birds,

or bringing in the hues of different seasons,

 

Be it painting the soothing landscapes.

or the vibrant floral meadows..

 

The master class for a beginner is a boost.

She helps you in the discovery of a master artist

 

Looking forward to many more classes eagerly..

75th Independence day

 

Wings of freedom

Let the wings of our freedom sway,

As we celebrate the 75th independence day.

Let's recollect the struggles

underwent by our ancestors,

to fight the slavery

and set the country free.

Let's recollect the hardships

of our mighty soldiers,

who have left behind their families

and working relentlessly in the borders.

Isn't it our duty to justify

these real hero's sacrifice?

Let's do our bit to protect our culture,

and preserve the glorious heritage.

Let's be a responsible citizen

so that we can pass on

a much better nation,

to our future generation.

My color pencil painting teacher

The colour pencil medium looked tempting,

But, some inhibitions prevented me from trying.

I didn't even know the basics,

Finally overcame the fear and took Ketia's class.

The class is very beginner friendly,

at the same time detailed and lovely !

The significance of reflections

and the interesting highlights

The cast shadows & the light,

All of these were very well taught !
